When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience. We collect the following information as a course of delivering services and supporting our core features:

  • Phone Number – For mobile phones and tablets we obtain the phone number directly from the device and record this information as part of the device details in order for DriveStrike Administrators to more quickly identify and manage devices from within the DriveStrike console.
  • Device Information – We record and maintain an updated record of the devices hardware and operating system status, some examples of this data: various serial numbers, user name, encryption status, operating system information, domain information, WiFi access point signal strength and MAC Address, and the like.
  • Location Information – We record and maintain a running 60 day history of device location information on demand and at standard intervals.
  • email Address – We record email Address as part of the device registration process.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, fill out a form, install DriveStrike, open a Support Ticket or enter information on our site. 

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

Spearstone Management, LLC complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Spearstone Management, LLC has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.  Spearstone Management, LLC has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/

In compliance with the DPF Principles, DriveStrike commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. EU, UK and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our DPF policy should first contact DriveStrike at support@drivestrike.com and give us the opportunity to resolve your complaint. We will respond to your complaint promptly. DriveStrike has further committed to refer unresolved DPF complaints to PrivacyTrust, an alternate dispute resolution provider. If you do not receive timely acknowledgement of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit https://www.privacytrust.com/drs/drivestrike for more information or to raise a complaint with PrivacyTrust. The services of Privacy Trust are provided at no cost to you.

Finally, as a last resort and in limited situations, EU, UK and Swiss individuals may seek redress from the DPF Panel a binding arbitration mechanism.

Data Retention and Deletion

DriveStrike data is purged automatically within 90 days after you cancel your account or you notify us at support@drivestrike.com that you would like your data removed from our system(s).

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Spearstone Management, LLC, its subsidiaries, partners, and or affiliates do not disclose, share, sell, rent, lease or otherwise disclose DriveStrike customer or device data unless requested by the customer or we are compelled as a matter of law and legal action.

DriveStrike is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU, UK and Swiss individuals received pursuant to the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and Swiss – U.S. DPF, DriveStrike remains liable.
